Anti-Trafficking Day
Starting from 1991, over 230,000 Ukrainian citizens have been affected by illegal actions associated with human trafficking. Initially this people were promised “the moon and the stars”, but faced with the horrors of labor exploitation, injustice and violence.
The purpose of this company was to publicize the aforementioned issue, warn potential victims as well as to inform people who have already suffered from labor exploitation about the existence of the International Organization for Migration.
Our team in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration in Ukraine and the Ambassador of Goodwill of the UN agency on migration, winner of Eurovision 2016, Ukrainian singer Jamala, have released an allegorical outdoor campaign. At first glance, a fashionable print turns into a display of hidden aggression symbolizing the difficulties that migrants may encounter and are not being spoken out loud. Campaign is released on EU Anti-Trafficking Day on October 18, 2018.
Campaign has been selected for publication in Lürzer’s Archive Journal, Issue 1/2018.
